Having alcohol withdrawal since your Celiac diagnosis? Though they aren’t quite the same, there are still a number of gluten free beers which are available for purchase online. You may also be able to find a few of them locally if you do some hunting in your area!
I’ve gone ahead and collected the gluten free beers that I was able to find for sale online (so that way everyone has access to them). If you know of any that aren’t included in our list, please leave us a comment below with a link to the official website of the product and we’ll get it added!
- Bard’s Beer – The founders (Craig and Kevin) were actually both diagnosed with Celiac Disease, prompting this beer to be created. If you are having troubles finding Bard’s Beer, the Bard’s locator on their official website has a locator at the bottom of the page.
- Green’s – Green’s is a European flavored brew which is gluten free and also suitable for Vegans and Vegatarians. If you’d like to purchase some, I’ve been told it can be ordered from John’s Grocery.
- New Grist – Having troubles finding New Grist? Click here to locate liquor stores, restaurants, and/or bars that sell New Grist.
- O’Brien – Known for being Australia’s first gluten-free beer. If you’d like to give it a try, you can order it online.
- Redbridge – Popular gluten free beer from Anheuser-Busch.

Just diagnosed with Celiac and am beer lover. Tried Bards and Green (both dark and light) and both were so bad, we returned the unused bottles to Whole Foods.
